campbellton1.jpg
Campbellton Caterpillar131 viewsThere's a neat beach with some caves and stuff at Campbellton. We observed many caterpillars down on the beach at low tide munching out on the seaweed.
campbellton2.jpg
Campbellton Snail159 viewsThese snails often have interesting growths on them (like the coral on this one). Down near the caves at Campbellton beach.
cape_bear1.jpg
Cape Bear Spider122 viewsAt Cape Bear there is a lighthouse. Also a very large spider. He was minding his own business as I tried to get his photo. I poked at him a bit to get him to move and he attacked the stick like a rabid dog. Look at the size of his fangs by his front legs.
cape_bear2.jpg
Cape Bear Lighthouse128 viewsYet another lighthouse. PEI has many.
cavendish1.jpg
Cavendish Campsite213 viewsBeach camping in PEI is often like this. Wide open with no trees, right near the water. The picture lies though. There were many other campers to the left and right of us. Not really recommended - we only stayed one night.
cavendish2.jpg
Cavendish Bridge126 viewsOne of the fresh water lakes that happens when tidal water gets trapped for a long period of time and diluted by rain. There's a bit of a nature walk that crosses this lake. It was near sunset and the light was very golden in this shot.
cavendish3.jpg
Eagle with Fish147 viewsThis eagle was wheeling around off the beach near Cavendish. I kept trying to get a good action shot of him but I was always too slow or too far away. This is a severely cropped shot of him after he's caught a large fish.
cavendish4.jpg
Fishing Eagle124 viewsNot much luck getting a good action shot of this eagle at Cavendish. The shot before is just a big splash from him diving into the water. This is him taking off with a fish.

MMMMussels156 viewsIn Charlottetown, mussels come in buckets....yum.
charlottetown2.jpg
Gahan House126 viewsReally old house in Charlottetown converted to a brewery/pub. Best beer ever.
charlottetown3.jpg
Gahan House137 viewsTaking a tour of the brewery. Mmm...samples....
charlottetown4.jpg
Growler194 viewsThat's a growler. 64 oz. jug of beer. $9. We would buy them, put them in our cooler and enjoy them back at the campsite in the evening.
charlottetown5.jpg
Gahan House200 viewsSharon checking out the menu at the pub. Lots of atmosphere.
crowbush.jpg
Crowbush137 viewsBeautiful links style golf course that runs along the ocean. Didn't get a chance to play but definitely will next time.
eagle_view1.jpg
Eagles View Golf Course143 viewsLongest bridge over water in Canadian golf. It's over a kilometer and lies between the second hole and the third.
eagle_view2.jpg
Eagles View Golf Course137 viewsReally pretty and challenging nine-hole course. I played in the morning with the sun still coming up. Beautiful.
