Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 ea chopped yellow onion
1 cn 10 oz tomato soup
3 cn 10 oz consomme soup
2 c water
1 ea bay leaves
1 pn black pepper
1 pn parsley
1/2 c barley
1/2 t thyme
1 cn 28 oz. diced tomatoes
3 ea finely chopped celery
4 ea finely chopped carrot

Directions
1.  Brown meat and onions.  Drain well, then combine with all other ingredients in large pot.

2.  Simmer, covered for a minimum of 2 hours.
