1. Cut broccoli into 1 inch pieces. Steam and set aside. 2. Cook onions. Set aside. 3. In a saucepan melt 2 tbsp butter; blend in flour, dash of salt and pepper. Add milk and cook until thick. 4. Reduce heat, blend in cream cheese until there is a smooth consistency. Place broccoli and onions in a casserole dish. Pour sauce over and mix lightly. Top with cheddar cheese. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. 5. Melt remaining butter and toss with bread crumbs. Sprinkle over top and bake uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes and stir
